Scorbit Matches: Your Match. Your Stakes. Your Jackpot.

You and your pinball crew have been waiting for this one. With the latest version of the Scorbit mobile app, available in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, Matches are officially live, which means you can set up your own head-to-head competitions with your friends at participating Scorbit locations. You pick the machine, set the stakes, invite your people, and let the high scores do the talking.

And because we want to give you every reason to round up your friends, we’re also unveiling Competition Rewards, a brand-new program that pays you and your friends to compete.

What’s a Match?

A Match is a competition you create yourself. Here’s how it works:

Pick a Scorbit-enabled machine at a participating location.
Set the entry fee (up to $20) and the window of time the Match runs.
Invite your friends straight from the app or via text message.
Everybody plays for their best score before the clock runs out.
Highest score takes the jackpot, which grows with every entry.

Matches are asynchronous, so your whole group doesn’t have to be standing at the machine at the same time. Competitors can play on their own schedule, so if you can only get to the arcade on Monday night and your buddy can only sneak away during their lunch hour, you still can compete against each other! Challenge a friend across town, settle a long-running rivalry, or finally find out who’s actually the best on your favorite machine at your local bar. Set it up, share it, and let the leaderboard sort it out.

Introducing Competition Rewards

This is where it gets fun. Competition Rewards is our way of putting credit back in your pocket for growing the pinball community.

Here’s the deal: when you invite a friend to your Match and they play their first paid Match entry, both of you earn a reward in your Scorbit account. You get rewarded for setting up the competition and bringing someone in, and your friend gets rewarded for jumping into their first Match. That credit goes right into your Scorbit balance, ready to put toward your next games.

The more friends you bring into the action, the more you both stand to earn. It’s our way of helping you grow the pinball community. Got that friend who’s on the fence, not quite sure if they’re ready to compete? Hopefully this is the nudge (ha, get it?) they need to step up and get involved.

Competition Rewards runs as limited-time promotions, so keep an eye on the app for when Rewards are available and how much they’re worth. Get on it while you can!

Head to the Compete tab.
Create a Match, set your stakes, and invite your friends.
Go put up a score.
Keep an eye on the leaderboard to make sure you don’t get knocked off the top spot.
