Last week, pinball enthusiasts gathered in the Chicagoland area for Pinball Expo 2024 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the longest-running pinball show. We were honored to participate alongside other great manufacturers, content creators, and pinball historians, making Pinball Expo a must-attend event. It was fantastic to see pinball thriving with so many passionate players, fans, and hobbyists, plus all the amazing pinball machines, old and new!
We were thrilled with the turnout for our panel, “Advancing Connected Pinball to the Next Phase,” where Scorbit co-founders Jay Adelson and Ron Richards provided updates from Scorbit HQ. You can see the full panel video below (thanks to the great team at Pinball News).
Highlights of the talk include:
- Scorbitrons are back in stock, now with NO Subscription required
- The Scorbit app features an interactive scoring timeline
- An update on development of connectivity for Pulp Fiction from Play Mechanix/Chicago Gaming Company
- The Scorbit SDK is coming soon!
In addition to Expo itself, we had a blast at the Pinball Media Mixer 2.0 presented by Kineticist. What a great party filled with people who love pinball! It was awesome to see the excitement and energy in the room.T hanks to Colin Alsheimer and the entire team behind that event!
And of course, we’d like to thank Rob Berk and the entire Pinball Expo team for being so welcoming and accommodating, along with all the attendees who came to our talk and everyone we had the opportunity to chat with. Pinball is alive and well, and we’re excited to continue bringing exciting new features to Scorbit and connected pinball!
