Scorbit @ Pinball Expo 2026

Pinball Expo 2026 is in the books, and what a week it was! Between some exciting Scorbit announcements, packed tournaments on the show floor, and two incredible nights at The Pinball Capital, we had an amazing time catching up with the pinball community in Chicago.

We came to Expo with plenty to share, but the best part was seeing so many people playing, competing, and getting excited about what’s next for Scorbit. Here’s a look back at what we shared and celebrated at Pinball Expo ’26!

We kicked off Expo week with the release of Scorbit 2.1, featuring a completely redesigned Home screen that makes it easier to get to the things you use most.

Scorbit App 2.1

The new Home screen puts your activity front and center, with quick access to your favorite locations, recent games, and Scorbit Wallet. We also overhauled the post-game experience, making it easier to share your scores and jump back into Scorbit Tournaments. The update is available now on the App Store and Google Play.

One of our biggest announcements of the week was that Pulp Fiction Pinball is getting connected with Scorbit!

Working with our friends at Play Mechanix Pinball, we announced game code v1.03, which brings built-in Scorbit integration to Pulp Fiction Pinball, along with highly anticipated gameplay fixes and scoring adjustments.

Once connected, players can automatically track their scores, follow live leaderboards, and see their games on ScorbitVision. Participating Scorbit locations can also offer digital payments and real-money tournaments and head-to-head matches.

The new Pulp Fiction Online Upgrade Kit, priced at $99.99, ships in November, when the code update will also become available to download.

We were especially excited to see Pulp Fiction connected and running Scorbit Competitions at the Chicago Gaming Company booth throughout Expo! More on that down below, competition was fierce!

Scorbit Seminar @ Pinball Expo

On Friday, Scorbit co-founders Jay Adelson and Ron Richards took the stage for our seminar, “Scorbit & the Pinball Economy: Bringing More Players to More Locations.”

We shared a look at how Scorbit is growing, how operators are using the platform to bring players back to their locations, and how we’re working to connect more pinball machines than ever before. We also had a couple of new announcements to share!

We’re continuing our long-standing partnership with Match Play Events with new account integration in the Scorbit app.

Players can now connect their Match Play Events account to their Scorbit profile, bringing their Match Play identity and rating into the Scorbit experience. It’s another step toward bringing more of the competitive pinball experience together, whether you’re playing in a traditional tournament or entering a Scorbit Competition.

We also gave everyone a first look at something new from Scorbit Labs: a redesigned apron holder for the Scorbit Tap Pad! The new holder securely mounts the Tap Pad to the machine’s apron, giving players a consistent place to tap when starting a game. For operators, it means a cleaner, more consistent installation across their machines. For players, it means knowing exactly where to tap, no matter which Scorbit-connected game they’re playing. Keep an eye out for it at your favorite Scorbit enabled location as these new holders will be shipping out very soon!

Of course, we couldn’t come to Pinball Expo without giving everyone a chance to compete!

Across five Scorbit Tournaments during Expo week, 40 different players won a portion of over $1,000 in jackpot money!

It was incredible to watch the competitions unfold throughout the week, with players returning to improve their scores, climb the leaderboards, and take home a share of the jackpots. Thanks to everyone who entered and congratulations to all the winners!

A huge thank-you to our friends at Pedretti Gaming and Chicago Gaming Company for hosting Scorbit Tournaments at their booths throughout Expo! Players competed on Pedretti’s Tales of the Arabian Nights Remake and Chicago Gaming Company’s Pulp Fiction Pinball, giving attendees a chance to experience Scorbit-connected pinball firsthand. And the response was fantastic!

Across both tournaments, we saw:

  • 213 tournament entries
  • 79 different players
  • $513 in jackpot money awarded
  • 16 players taking home cash prizes

Congratulations to Scorbit user: dutchtommy, who took the top spot on Tales of the Arabian Nights with a score of 181 million (insane!), and Scorbit user: pinfamy, who won the Pulp Fiction tournament with 6.2 million!

A special shout-out to Scorbit user: weatherman75, who managed to finish second in both tournaments!

We also want to recognize Scorbit user: dahawk007, who joined dutchtommy, weatherman75, and pinfamy as the four players who cashed in both competitions.

One of our favorite things about Scorbit Tournaments is how easy they are to enter. There’s no bracket to follow or scheduled round to wait for. Just enter through the app, play your game, and see where you land on the leaderboard and come back for more to get a higher spot to stay competitive! It was great to see that experience in action on the Expo floor.

The fun didn’t stop when the Expo hall closed! On Thursday and Friday nights, we headed over to The Pinball Capital for two nights of after-hours pinball, Scorbit Tournaments, and a whole lot of fun.

If you haven’t visited The Pinball Capital yet, put it on your list. With more than 130 games, it’s quickly becoming one of the best places to play pinball in the Chicago area. And yes, you can use Scorbit there!

We had an amazing turnout both nights, with familiar faces from the community and plenty of new ones joining us. Across our tournaments at The Pinball Capital, 29 players took home more than $575 in jackpot winnings!

A huge thank-you to everyone at The Pinball Capital for hosting us and making both nights such a great experience. We loved seeing so many people enjoying the venue, competing in tournaments, and hanging out together. We can’t wait to come back!

We also want to give a big thank-you to the entire Pinball Expo team for putting on another fantastic show.

Events like Expo remind us why we love being part of this community. There’s nothing quite like getting everyone together to celebrate pinball, discover new games, and spend time with the people who make this hobby so special.

And to everyone who stopped us in the hallways, visited the tournaments, attended our seminar, or took the time to share feedback about Scorbit: thank you! We had so many great conversations throughout the week. Hearing what you love about Scorbit, what you’d like to see next, and how you’re using the platform helps us make it better.

We’ve got plenty more coming, and we’re excited to keep building on everything we shared at Expo. See you next year and don’t forget, MAKE EVERY GAME COUNT!
